Alli Pfaff (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and accredited Music Therapist with the Canadian Association of Music Therapists. She holds a Master of Music Therapy degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours from York University. In addition, Ms. Pfaff holds a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University in the Artist in Community Education program track and spent over 10 years as a music educator in various settings.

Ms. Pfaff has rich experience working with children, youth and adults throughout the lifespan in private, institutional, and not-for-profit settings. She has experience working with clients experiencing depression and anxiety, neurodiversity, life transitions, criminalization, homelessness or who are underhoused, and has speciality in working with grief and loss.

Ms. Pfaff strives to create a warm and welcoming space in which people feel supported and valued. Working from a non-judgemental and strengths-based approach, Alli integrates traditional talk-based methods with creative arts experiences as a means toward self-expression, exploration, and change. Ms. Pfaff recognizes the inherent creative and imaginative capacities of each person, regardless of any previous musical or artistic training. By engaging these capacities, difficult life experiences are processed, and insight or new possibilities are uncovered.

When she is not at the piano or guitar, she is busy raising her child, enjoying time with family and friends, and dancing her heart out in community.
